Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced DevOps Engineer to join our rapidly growing engineering team.
The ideal candidate will have solid experience in cloud infrastructure, automation, and continuous integration/deployment (CI/CD), with the ability to collaborate closely with the development, AI, and product teams.
You will play a key role in designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable systems that support Mawaba Technologies’ next-generation software platforms and services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, automate, and manage cloud infrastructure using the Infrastructure as Code (IaC) approach with Terraform and related tools.
  • Ensure the security, scalability, and resilience of multi-cloud environments (Azure, GCP, AWS).
  • Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps.
  • Support the deployment and monitoring of containerized applications (Docker, Kubernetes, or serverless systems).
  • Collaborate closely with AI/ML, data, and software development teams to optimize delivery cycles and accelerate innovation.
  • Manage and monitor infrastructure performance, set up alerting systems, and ensure high availability of critical services.
  • Apply best practices in security, compliance, and automation throughout the development cycle.
  • Contribute to technical decision-making and the continuous improvement of DevOps processes and culture at Mawaba.
  • Stay informed about emerging technologies and DevOps tools to keep Mawaba at the forefront of innovation.

Required Skills and Experience

  • At least 3 years of hands-on experience in cloud infrastructure management (Azure, Google Cloud, or AWS).
  • Strong proficiency in Terraform and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Git, and DevOps automation tools.
  • Excellent knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and modern orchestration systems.
  • In-depth understanding of security, authentication, and secret management in cloud environments.
  • Scripting and automation skills (Python, Bash, PowerShell).
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proactive and collaborative mindset.
Desired Skills Experience supporting full-stack or data-driven applications using a DevOps approach. Knowledge of MLOps principles or data infrastructure for AI workloads. Familiarity with monitoring and observability tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Datadog). Knowledge of Agile methodologies and best practices for version control. Degree in computer science, software engineering, or a similar technical field.
