Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Application Developer to join our growing engineering team.
In this role, you will design, develop, and maintain innovative software applications that power Mawaba’s digital and AI platforms.
You will collaborate closely with product, cloud, and data teams to deliver secure, scalable, and user-centric solutions that make a real difference.

Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain software applications supporting products and ecosystems …Mawaba’s AI.
- Build APIs, integrations, and data pipelines connecting cloud, AI, and business systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (DevOps, Product, UX, Data Science) to transform technical requirements into production-ready applications.
- Implement best practices regarding security, scalability, and software reliability.
- Contribute to all stages of the software development lifecycle: design, testing, deployment, and support.
- Participate in code reviews, documentation, and the continuous improvement of development standards.
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues, optimize performance, and ensure system resilience across multiple platforms.
- Stay up-to-date with new technologies to drive innovation and maintain technical excellence.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in software or application development.
- Strong programming skills in one or more languages: Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, C#, Java, or equivalent.
- Experience with RESTful APIs, microservices, or web applications.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Good understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and CI/CD principles.
- Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and a collaborative mindset.
Desired Skills
- Experience integrating AI/ML models into applications.
- Knowledge of database systems (SQL, NoSQL) and data visualization tools.
- Familiarity with DevOps tools (Terraform, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, etc.).
- Knowledge of API security, authentication, and cloud infrastructure principles.
- Interest in developing solutions that support health, the environment, or civic technology.
